This comprehensive course will provide leading-edge strategies to position your practice for a successful transition while developing a well-designed financial and retirement plan to maximize your after-tax wealth and ensure a financially secure retirement. By the completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Determine when you can afford to retire with confidence
- Select appropriate Social Security timing to maximize benefits
- Calculate your retirement cash flow needs and determine when and how to take retirement plan and IRA distributions
- Utilize tools to convert funds to tax-free Roth IRAs

Wes is the President and CEO of McGill and Lyon Dental Advisors, guiding dentists to reduce taxes, increase profitability, and achieve financial freedom. He joined John K. Jonathan is a Practice Transition Advisor with 20 years of experience guiding dentists through successful practice transitions. Since joining McGill and Lyon Practice Transitions in 2005, he has overseen more than $1 billion in practice sales, from single-doctor offices to large multi-location groups. Jonathan approaches each transition with care and personal attention, simplifying a complex process while protecting the value doctors have built and ensuring their decisions align with their financial and personal goals.
Liam D. Fitzgerald, CFP®
Liam is a Financial Advisor for Lyon Wealth Advisors. He is a graduate of Liberty University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Planning. He has obtained the Certified Financial Planner™ designation. Prior to joining Lyon Wealth Advisors, Liam served as a Financial Advisor for Vanguard serving high net worth individuals by creating comprehensive financial plans and implementing strategies that helped reach financial and personal goals.

Overnight valet parking with in-and-out privileges is $72 per vehicle, per night. Please note that there is a Late Exit fee of $25 if the car is left after 2 PM the next day. The garage can accommodate vehicles up to 6’8” in height. Guests with over-height vehicles should call the hotel prior to arrival for directions to other garages nearby that can accommodate their vehicle.
This hotel does not offer an airport shuttle from Logan International Airport (BOS).

Your registration fee covers daily breakfast, two-day session attendance, lunch Friday afternoon and a happy hour Friday evening for each registered attendee. Unregistered guests cannot attend the sessions or meals but are welcome to join us for Friday’s cocktail reception. For the most valuable experience, we highly recommend spouses attend this seminar. 60 or more days prior to the event: Receive a refund, less a $50 processing fee, or apply your full registration fee as a credit toward a future seminar.
30-59 days prior to the event: Receive a credit toward a future seminar.
Less than 30 days prior to the event: No refund or credit can be provided, as your attendance has already been confirmed with the hotel.
