Jonathan Martin, CPA

Partner at McGill and Lyon Practice Transitions

“My mission is to guide dentists through one of the most important decisions of their life – transitioning their practice – with clarity, efficiency and a deep respect for the legacy they’ve built.”

About Jonathan

Jonathan has 20 years of experience guiding dentists and dental specialists through the transition process. Since joining the McGill and Lyon Practice Transitions in 2005, he has helped over 1,000 dentists successfully transition their practices, whether bringing in a partner and selling a fractional interest, to selling 100% of their practice to another doctor, to affiliating with a DSO. Jonathan has overseen more than $1 billion of dental practices sales, ranging from modest one-doctor practices to large multi doctor, multi location group practices. Jonathan believes every dental practice transition is personal, and approaches it with the care and attention it deserves. His role is to simplify a complex process, protect the value dentists have built, and help them make decisions that align with both their financial and personal goals. He doesn’t just facilitate deals—he build relationships rooted in trust, transparency, and long-term success.
